Wan 3.0 Video Prime is the faster-turnaround tier of Alibaba's Wan 3.0, released in August 2026. It accepts the same input families: text, first and last frames, up to 10 reference images, and up to 5 reference videos and 5 reference audio clips. Document and web page input exist at Alibaba but are not available in Jantaris yet. It returns 2 to 30 second clips at 480P through 4K with an audio track by default. There is no documented latency guarantee and no quality advantage over standard Wan 3.0, so the reason to pick it is turnaround.
Best for
- Time-sensitive jobs where a client is waiting
- Interactive apps where users watch a progress bar
- Rapid review rounds on one concept
- Same-day product clips from reference photos
Prompting tips
- Requests are interchangeable with Wan 3.0, so you can switch per job by changing the model id.
- Label assets as Image 1, Video 1 and Audio 1 in the prompt.
duration: -1reserves 30 seconds; set an explicit length to keep the estimate lower.- Keep reference clips within 1-15 s each and 15 s in total.
FAQ
How much does Wan 3.0 Video Prime cost?
Prime is priced at from $0.124 per second. Reference videos are billable, the estimate comes back before the job runs, and failed generations are not charged.
Is Wan 3.0 Video Prime better quality than Wan 3.0?
No quality advantage is documented. Prime is the faster-turnaround tier, without a fixed latency guarantee.
Does Prime support documents and web pages?
The model does, but Jantaris does not expose document or web page input yet, for Prime or for standard Wan 3.0.
