AI Birthday Song With Name - Lyrics and Styles
How to make an AI birthday song with a name: 3 lyric templates for mom, dad and kids, 6 styles, name pronunciation fixes, a photo music video and cost.
You make an AI birthday song with a name in Mureka V9 from two fields: lyrics with the birthday person's name and a style description. The model writes the melody, arrangement and vocal, and you get an audio file to play at the party, send in a chat or put under a music video made from photos. One song costs $0.124 per song, paid from your prepaid balance, and a failed generation costs nothing. Below are three ready lyric templates (for mom, for dad and for a kid), six styles to paste, and a workaround for names the AI mispronounces.
What you need
Mureka V9 requires lyrics - it will not start without them. The style prompt is optional, but without it the model picks the genre itself. Prepare:
- the name in the form the person likes (a nickname often sings better than a full name),
- 3 memories - short, specific scenes: a trip together, a catchphrase, a favourite dish, a first bike,
- a style from the list below,
- a few photos, if you also want a music video.
| Studio field | API field | Limit | What goes in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lyrics | lyrics | up to 3000 characters | lyrics with [Verse] and [Chorus] tags |
| Prompt | prompt | up to 1024 characters | style: genre, tempo, vocal, instruments |
More about the model itself, the style field and section tags is in the guide Mureka V9 AI music API.

3 birthday song lyric templates
Capital letters mark the spots to replace. Remove them completely before sending, numbers included. Do not put the name in square brackets - the model would read it as a section tag instead of a word to sing. Write each memory as a short line of 6-10 syllables, e.g. "when you got us lost in Rome" or "when you burned the Sunday pancakes".
Birthday song for mom
[Verse]
I remember, mom, MEMORY 1
And your laugh that filled up every room
I remember MEMORY 2
Every day with you was bright as June
[Chorus]
NAME, it's your day
May this year bring everything you wish your way
NAME, here's our song
Every word for you, so sing along
[Verse]
And when I think of MEMORY 3
I know half of who I am is you
So bring the candles, cake and all the noise
We are here today to sing for you
[Chorus]
NAME, it's your day
May this year bring everything you wish your way
NAME, here's our song
Every word for you, so sing along
[Outro]
Happy birthday, momBirthday song for dad
[Verse]
Dad, remember MEMORY 1
I remember every detail of that day
And the time MEMORY 2
We still tell it at the table anyway
[Chorus]
Hey, NAME, still in top form
Another year and you're the same old you
Hey, NAME, turn the speakers up
The whole house is singing just for you
[Verse]
But the best one was MEMORY 3
No instructions, always had a plan
Take a seat today, we've got the rest
Cake is waiting, coffee's in the pan
[Chorus]
Hey, NAME, still in top form
Another year and you're the same old you
Hey, NAME, turn the speakers up
The whole house is singing just for you
[Outro]
Happy birthday, dadBirthday song for a kid (or anyone)
[Verse]
Who woke up the earliest today?
Who's the star of every game we play?
We remember MEMORY 1
And MEMORY 2, what fun
[Chorus]
NAME, NAME, jump up high
Balloons and cake up to the sky
NAME, NAME, clap your hands
It's your birthday, here's your band
[Verse]
Do you remember MEMORY 3?
We were laughing all day, you and me
Grow up tall and laugh out loud
Blow the candles, one, two, three
[Chorus]
NAME, NAME, jump up high
Balloons and cake up to the sky
NAME, NAME, clap your hands
It's your birthday, here's your bandRules that keep the lyrics singable:
- write the full chorus every time instead of "chorus x2",
- spell numbers as words: "fiftieth birthday", not "50th birthday",
- keep the three memories at a similar length so the verse keeps its rhythm,
- put the name at the start or end of a line, not in the middle of a long sentence.
6 styles to paste into the Prompt field
Paste a style into Prompt as is, or adjust the tempo and vocal.
| Style | Prompt to paste | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Pop | upbeat pop, female vocal, bright synths, claps, 118 bpm, happy birthday party | anyone, a party |
| Acoustic ballad | acoustic ballad, warm male vocal, fingerpicked guitar, soft piano, 72 bpm, emotional | mom, a milestone birthday |
| Rock | classic rock, raspy male vocal, overdriven guitars, big drums, 128 bpm, energetic | dad, guitar fans |
| Kids | children's song, cheerful female vocal, ukulele, xylophone, hand claps, 110 bpm, simple melody | kids |
| Jazz | smooth jazz, female vocal, upright bass, brushed drums, warm Rhodes, 95 bpm, elegant | grandparents, a dinner |
| Rap | boom bap hip hop, confident male rap vocal, vinyl crackle, punchy drums, 90 bpm | teens, a sibling |
For rap, shorten the chorus lines and keep the name at the end of the line so it lands like a punchline. For the ballad, the memories can be longer because the tempo is slow.
Name pronunciation: phonetic spelling as a workaround
Names are where AI singing most often goes wrong: unusual spellings, silent letters, names from another language and stress on the wrong syllable. The workaround is to spell the name the way it should sound:
| Name | Problem | Spelling to try |
|---|---|---|
| Siobhan | Irish spelling | Shiv-awn |
| Niamh | Irish spelling | Neev |
| Joaquin | Spanish "j" | Wah-keen |
| Saoirse | Irish spelling | Seer-sha |
| Xavier | first letter varies | Zay-vee-er or Ha-vee-air |
| Emma | usually fine | leave it |
How to do it without wasting money:
- start with the normal spelling, it often sounds fine,
- if not, make a second version with the phonetic spelling and compare,
- hyphens between syllables help when the model swallows the middle of a name,
- a nickname is usually shorter and easier to sing,
- each attempt is a separate song, so two versions cost 2 × $0.124 per song.
The phonetic spelling only lives in the lyrics field - in the finished song you hear the sung name, so nobody sees "Shiv-awn". If you make a music video with subtitles, add the title and text in editing or put the correct name in the video's title field.
A photo music video for the birthday song
You can turn the finished song into a music video in Music Video 1.0. Upload the MP3 (10-300 seconds) and 1 to 7 photos of the birthday person or images in the look you want, and the model makes a video synced to the track. Aspect ratios include 9:16 (for reels and stories) and 16:9 (for the TV at the party), at 540P, 720P or 1080P.
- Download the Mureka V9 song as MP3.
- In Studio, open the Video tab and pick Music Video 1.0.
- Add the audio file and photos.
- In Prompt, describe the mood, e.g. "warm home birthday party, balloons, candlelight, joyful".
- In Title, type e.g. "Happy Birthday, Emma" - it can show up in the subtitles.
- Check the cost and click Generate.
The video is billed per second of the song: from $0.11 per second, with the rate depending on the resolution you pick. A two-minute song is 120 seconds. You need consent from the people in the photos. Both ways to make a music video are covered in AI music video.
How much an AI birthday song costs
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| One song in Mureka V9 | $0.124 per song |
| Music video in Music Video 1.0 | from $0.11 per second of the song |
The math:
cost = number of attempts × price per song
+ (optional) song seconds × music video rateExample: three versions of the song (normal spelling, phonetic spelling and a different style) are 3 × $0.124 per song. Your balance never expires and there is no subscription, so whatever is left works for the next birthday. The pricing page has a cost calculator.
Birthday songs through the API
If you make songs at scale, e.g. for a gift shop, do the same with POST /v1/generate:
curl "https://jantaris.com/v1/generate?wait=120" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $JANTARIS_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"model": "mureka-v9",
"input": {
"lyrics": "[Verse]\nI remember, mom, our summer by the sea\nAnd your laugh that filled up every room\n[Chorus]\nEmma, it is your day\nMay this year bring everything you wish your way",
"prompt": "acoustic ballad, warm male vocal, fingerpicked guitar, soft piano, 72 bpm"
}
}'A new line in the lyrics is \n, and a task with status failed costs 0.
FAQ
Can I make an AI birthday song for free?
Not in Jantaris. There is no free plan or starter credit: you pay for every generated song ($0.124 per song), and the minimum top-up is $10. In return, your balance never expires, there is no subscription, and a failed generation costs 0.
Can the song be sung in my own voice?
No. Jantaris has no voice cloning - Mureka V9 sings with its own voices, and you only choose the type in the style prompt (female vocal, male vocal, child-like vocal, raspy). If you really want your own voice, record the vocal yourself over a backing track: generate the song and strip the vocal with Music Extractor.
Can I use "Happy Birthday to You" or "Sto lat"?
You can mention the words "happy birthday" in your lyrics, but do not paste the full lyrics of existing songs - write your own or use the templates above. Mureka V9 never sings a known melody anyway: it always composes its own for your text. If the guests want to sing the classic together, do it live and play the AI song as the gift.
How do I make a birthday song for my mom?
Take the "for mom" template, add her name or nickname and three specific memories, and paste the acoustic ballad or jazz style. One version costs $0.124 per song.
How do I make a birthday song for my dad?
Take the "for dad" template and the rock or pop style. His catchphrases and the things he is famous for in the family work best as memories.
How long is an AI birthday song?
Mureka V9 has no length parameter - the length follows the lyrics. The templates above (two verses, two choruses) usually give a short, complete song. The price is per song, so longer lyrics do not cost more.
