Gemini Omni 1.1 is the August 2026 successor of Google's Gemini Omni, with the same request shape. Google calls it Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 (gemini-omni-1.1-flash); on Jantaris its id is gemini-omni-1.1. It adds a 360p tier (billed at the 720p rate on Jantaris, so it saves no money). Google also added a generation_type switch that treats an image either as a locked first frame or as a subject and style reference, but Jantaris does not expose that switch yet. Outputs are 4, 6, 8 or 10 seconds in 16:9 or 9:16 at 360p, 720p, 1080p or 4K. It accepts 1 or 3 images or one reference clip of up to 30 seconds, and it is priced lower than Gemini Omni at every tier.
Best for
- Cheap 4-second drafts before a 10-second or 4K final
- Animating a single still as the opening frame
- Three-image fusion scenes
- Reworking a reference clip with a new prompt
Prompting tips
- Send one image in
image_url, or exactly three inimage_urlsfor fusion; two images are rejected. - Do not combine a reference clip with a start image in the same request.
- Draft at 360p, then re-render the same prompt at 1080p or 4K.
- With a reference clip, the output length follows the source and the job is billed at a flat per-job rate.
