Higgsfield Alternative - Kling, Seedance, Veo per Generation

Higgsfield is a convenient creative layer over models from other labs, such as Kling, Seedance, Veo, MiniMax Hailuo, Wan and Nano Banana, sold as a subscription billed in credits. If those models are what you actually use, you can run them directly on Jantaris: Kling 3.0 (from $0.169 per second), Seedance 2.5 (from $0.261 per second), Veo 3.1 (Quality) and Nano Banana Pro (from $0.0747 per image). Each generation is charged from a prepaid balance that never expires, and the same key works in the browser Studio and over the API.

How Higgsfield works in October 2026

From Higgsfield's official help center and blog as of October 2, 2026. Plans and prices change often, so check the current pricing on higgsfield.ai.

• Subscription with credits. Every model costs a different number of credits, and some models are only available on certain plans.
• Plan credits reset. They do not roll over: monthly plans refresh at each renewal, annual plans every 30 days.
• Credit packs expire. One-time credit packs are valid for 90 days from purchase.
• Unlimited only on the website. Unlimited windows and free generations included in plans work only in the browser on higgsfield.ai.
• A separate API. Higgsfield also runs an API with a prepaid US dollar balance, pay-per-generation pricing and no charge for failed requests. Funds expire one year after they are added, and a website plan does not include API access.
• In-house tools. Alongside third-party models, Higgsfield has its own, such as Soul for images and DoP for camera moves, plus libraries of ready-made effects.

Higgsfield works well for creators who switch between models every day and lean on presets and effects. If that is you, the subscription may be the better deal. A per-generation alternative fits other cases.

When a per-generation alternative fits better

• You generate in bursts. Plan credits reset every cycle; a Jantaris balance stays on your account with no expiry date.
• You build automations. One API key covers video, images, music and chat models, and chat is compatible with the OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs.
• You want the price first. Studio shows the cost of a clip before you click Generate; the API returns estimated_cost.
• You only need the model. You do not use presets or effects, just Kling, Seedance or Veo.
• You want one bill for everything. The same balance pays for chat and coding models too.

To be clear about the gaps: Jantaris has no Higgsfield models (Soul, DoP), no effect presets and no unlimited windows. Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0 without a subscription

These two models are why many people search for "Seedance 2.5 Higgsfield" or "Kling 3.0 Higgsfield". On Jantaris they run with the parameters listed on their model pages:

• Seedance 2.5 renders up to 30 seconds in one pass, with audio, and accepts up to 30 images, 10 clips and 10 audio tracks as references. It can also edit existing footage, replacing a product, style or background while keeping the motion. More in the Seedance 2.5 API guide.

My test: MiniMax H3 from a first frame

In August 2026 I tried MiniMax H3 (also released as Hailuo 03) in image-to-video mode at 2K. The first frame, a fox leaping into snow, came from an earlier test of another image model, and the prompt asked H3 to finish the dive. One attempt, no rerolls. Details are in MiniMax H3 and Hailuo API.

This two-step pattern, image first and motion second, is the most reliable way to control what the frame looks like. I make the first frame in Nano Banana Pro and pass its URL in the video model's image_url field. The whole workflow is in the image-to-video guide.

Moving a project over from Higgsfield

1. List the models you actually use. Usually two or three, for example Kling for characters, Seedance for longer scenes and Nano Banana Pro for first frames.
2. Turn presets into words. Replace a camera preset with a description in the prompt ("slow dolly-in", "handheld tracking shot") and an effect with what should happen in the frame.
3. Test once at 720p. The cheaper resolution is enough to check motion and framing. Render only the chosen take at 1080p or 4K.
4. Download finished files. Result links are valid for a limited time, so save clips right after they finish.
5. Top up per project. No need to prepay a month or a year.

Studio instead of a creative layer

Jantaris Studio is a model form in the browser: pick a model, write a prompt, set ratio, resolution and length, and see the cost before you click Generate. Your balance sits in the top-right corner. Generation history stays on your account, but file links are valid for a limited time, so download finished clips.

What it costs

Does Higgsfield have its own video models?

Is Kling 3.0 on Jantaris the same model as on Higgsfield?

Does the Jantaris balance expire?
