Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 share the same frame: clips up to 15 seconds and output up to 4K. Kling is cheaper per second and adds dialogue with lip sync. Pick Seedance 2.0 when you work from references (including video and audio), want 480p drafts or need 21:9. In my own test Seedance 2.0 also produced the best camera move of the whole lineup.
Key differences

When to pick Kling 3.0
- 1080p shots where cost per second matters.
- English dialogue with lip sync.
- 4K at a lower rate than Seedance.
- Silent B-roll under a voice-over, where Kling is cheapest.
When to pick Seedance 2.0
- A product ad from a few studio photos, or with a reference clip for motion.
- Shots that depend on a smooth camera push-in. In my test (Polish blog, promptowy.com) Seedance 2.0 scored 8.5/10 on the coffee-pour prompt, the best of ten models (ranking).
- Cheap 480p drafts before a higher-resolution render.
- 21:9 and 4:3 frames.
Cost in practice
At 720p Seedance 2.0 costs about 1.4 times as much per second as Kling with audio and about 2 times as much as silent Kling. At 1080p the gap grows to about 2.6x (with audio) and 3.9x (silent). At 4K Seedance is about 2.1 times pricier. On the other hand, Seedance at 480p is slightly cheaper than Kling's lowest tier, 720p silent. Extras: in Seedance, reference clips add their own seconds to the bill; in Kling, audio raises the 720p and 1080p rates (not 4K). Rates: from $0.169 per second and from $0.157 per second; the full list is on /pricing.
Both are weak at non-English speech: in the same test Seedance 2.0 garbled more than half of a Polish sentence, and Kling 3.0 Pro got 10 of 12 words wrong in a separate test. For Seedance variants see Seedance 2.0 vs 2.5.
